New Model for HR

Over the time we can see the change in the way HR operates, technology and social media is gaining more-and more prominence for HR. Developing a global HR service delivery model is also an important subject. It is predicted that a new model of HR will emerge, one which focuses on global delivery of core services, talent services, as well as what we call “strategic enablement” services. And technology will play a much larger role. The adoption of technology is imperative for HR, be it Recruitment, Learning & Development, Payroll or Rewards & Recognition, though the degree of adoption of technology differs in various HR functions. Cloud- based systems can bring in more cost efficiency and improves productivity as it needs lower maintenance cost, faster software implementation and upgrades. As projected by NASSCOM, 69% of the firms are moving to the cloud to drive higher user adoption of HR systems. It is expected that Cloud for HR applications will be on rise due to its flexibility, user-friendliness, less dependence on IT and easy anytime, anywhere access to applications. Some companies have already adopted cloud based systems to modernise their recruitment systems or online applications. It is expected cloud based applications will see increased adoption for Payroll Management, Learning & Development, Compensation & Rewards, Time sheets and Application Tracking Systems.
